In the Profiles and settings window parents can set up and edit the membership information and the parent and child profiles and user settings associated with their membership. Children can only edit their own profile and user settings.
To enter or update your membership information, follow these steps:

To enter or update your parent profile and user settings, follow these steps:
Whereas all family members associated with your membership need to sign in with the same username and password, the secret word is associated with the individual user. With a secret word, you can prevent children from accessing the membership settings available in a parent account or from running reports on their brothers and sisters! When signing in, you will need to enter the secret word.
To enter or update child profile information and settings, follow these steps:
Whereas all family members associated with your membership need to sign in with the same username and password, the secret word is associated with the individual user. With a secret word, you can keep brothers and sisters from snooping in each other's accounts! When signing in, you will need to enter the secret word.
Once you have begun practicing math with IXL and you have won prizes, you have the option to use one of your prize icons as your profile icon. For more information, see Earning Awards.
