Parent Reports
IXL offers families a powerful reporting tool to track a child's progress and practice time. The reports include both detail and summary data. You'll know how your child is doing without relying on dinner table interrogations!
To generate a report, select from the following options:
- (Parents with more than one child) Select the child you want from the View reports for list.
- Select the grade you want to see from the Grade list.
IXL displays the following information:
- Total problems attempted.
- Total skills practiced.
- Total time spent practicing.
- Total medals earned.
- Links to a variety of reports, described below.
- The most current news flash information, announcing a significant accomplishment or milestone.
- Graphical representations of the child's progress.
- A list of skills the child recently practiced with links to details.
Ratings
IXL rates student scores as Needs Improvement (<70), Satisfactory (70-79), Good (80-89), Excellent (90-99), Mastered (100), and Provisional. A Provisional rating means IXL cannot accurately rate the score because the student has not yet answered enough problems in that skill. If a student has mastered a skill, their rating for that skill remains "Mastered" even if they continue to practice it later and score lower.
