Skill Summary Report

The Skill Summary report shows performance for the selected skill. It includes two sections.

In the first section, parents and students see a trend graph, showing performance for each day in the selected time period. Teachers see a student completion chart, showing them the breakdown of ratings for the skill for the class.

In the second section is a table showing the current score for the skill, along with the rating; the number of correct, missed, and total problems; the total amount of time spent working on the skill and the average amount of time spent working on each problem; and the number of medals earned for the skill. In this table, you can do the following:

Click on the value for the number of correct, missed, or total problems to launch the Problem Summary report for the skill.
Click Printable report if you want IXL to re-format the report for optimal printing. You can only print the table portion of the report; you cannot print the graph. IXL displays the re-formatted report in a new window. Use your browser's menu to send it to your printer.
Click Return to overview report to go back to the main Reports tab display.

Ratings

IXL rates student scores as Needs Improvement (<70), Satisfactory (70-79), Good (80-89), Excellent (90-99), Mastered (100), and Provisional. A Provisional rating means IXL cannot accurately rate the score because the student has not yet answered enough problems in that skill. If a student has mastered a skill, their rating for that skill remains "Mastered" even if they continue to practice it later and score lower.
