The State Standards Tab

Standardized testing is an important measurement of classroom achievement. But how can you be confident that you are focusing on the appropriate standards? Worry no more! IXL makes it easy by providing skill practice for each individual state (as well as the District of Columbia), Common Core, and U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity educational standard.

You can access this information under the State Standards tab.

To view standards and associated skills for:

Specific state: Find your state on the map on the right-hand side of the page or select it from the alphabetical list. Click on the state.
Common Core: Located below the list of states, under the U.S. Standards heading. Click the Common Core link.
U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity: Located below the list of states, under the U.S. Standards heading. Click the DoDEA link.

Next, select the appropriate grade level, choose a standards-aligned skill to master, and start practicing! (Hint: If you'd like to see a sample problem, hold your mouse over the skill. Clicking on the skill will take you straight to the practice problems.)
