State Standards Report
The State Standards report shows the standards for your state, IXL skills for each standard, and scores for the student and grade selected.
In this report, you can do the following:
- (Parents and teachers only) Select a student from the list.
- Select the grade for which you want to view standards and results.
- Select the Include skills from other grades check box if you want the
report to include IXL skills that are mapped to a standard for the grade you
selected but are categorized in IXL under a different grade. Typically, these
are skills that are repeated through several grades, often at different levels
of difficulty to enhance proficiency. For example, a second grade standard for
learning fractions may include a combination of several second grade skills,
along with an easier skill taught in the first grade and a more advanced skill
taught in the third grade.
- Click View standards to see the state standards for the grade you selected. This opens in a new window.
- Click Printable report to open the report in a new window, formatted for better printing.
- Click on the play icon for a skill to immediately go to practice math for that skill. The play icon resembles a triangle.
- Click on the name of an IXL skill to view a summary report for that skill.
Note: You can select the Include skills from other grades check box at the top of the screen if you see this message: IXL offers skills for this standard with different levels of difficulty, for
other grades. Doing so allows you to view skills for that
standard that IXL offers at other grade levels because they have a different
level of difficulty.
When you are finished, click Return to overview report to go back to the main Reports tab display.
