The Practice Tab

The Practice tab is a place where you can begin your journey to math success. It displays links to each grade-specific page, along with links to a selection of skills that can be found within each grade.

Note: If you have an account, sign in before practicing math if you want to bypass the 20-problem limit, access the gameboard, earn awards, and ensure your work is stored in the system. To do this, enter your username and password in the fields at the top of the screen and click Sign in.

To see all skills in a grade, click the button for all skills for that grade.
To select one of the skills, click on it.
To view a report of completed work in a skill, click the reports icon for that skill. The reports icon resembles a small bar graph.
If IXL displays a notice at the top of the Practice tab while you are practicing math, informing you that you have won a prize, click Go to the gameboard to view the prize.
