History of IXL

IXL is a product of Quia Corporation, which was founded in 1998 with the goal of revolutionizing education through Web technology. IXL's fundamental mission is to improve and invigorate the learning experience for students, parents, and teachers.

When we set out to create IXL, we asked ourselves:

• How can we make learning and studying fun for students and give them more confidence in school?
• How can we save teachers time and make their jobs easier?
• How can we offer parents more ways to be involved in their children's education?

IXL Math is the answer to all of these questions.
