When you complete your IXL Diagnostic, it identifies the skills you have already mastered and the skills where you have opportunities to grow. This information helps us create a learning plan that is specific to you. Then utilizing IXL, teachers provide you the support you need to be successful in your Edgenuity courses and beyond.  
 
IXL is designed for you—it is not a one-size-fits-all program. Your recommended skills will change as you grow, learn, and demonstrate mastery. The more you work with IXL and engage with your teacher, the better it becomes at identifying what you need next.  
 
IXL is one part of Edge’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). MTSS is our school-wide approach to making sure every student receives the right level of support at the right time. Through IXL, we can monitor your progress, identify areas for growth, build foundational skills, and help you develop the habits needed for long-term success.  
 
The goal of IXL is growth—not perfection. By consistently working on your recommended skills, you will build confidence, strengthen your academic foundation, and see measurable progress in your skills and abilities.
