IXL gives teachers the tools they need to meet the challenges to teach our kids. Not only is their website easy to use, but they have integrated most of our textbooks that we use in class so it is an excellent tool to help reinforce what we have taught. IXL truly does stand for "I excel," when students use it the teacher, student, and education in general wins.
I love that you offer MN Standards, so that I can specifically meet the needs of my students, and prepare them for the MCA tests in the spring. I LOVE that IXL can be done independently, and how if a student gets something wrong, there is an explanation showing why. The kids LOVE the awards! I also really like how reports are e-mailed to me, showing student progress/awards, etc. The kids are VERY motivated by this, too!
I'm a student but I think this is the best way to learn because it has so many ways to practice and contains all the math I need. You go home and easily log in. I love IXL. I learned so many techniques that boosted my grade up to an A.
